Fibromyalgia and Persistent Pain Support
Fibromyalgia is a complex condition that can affect many aspects of daily life. It is commonly associated with widespread pain, fatigue, sleep difficulties, cognitive symptoms ("brain fog"), and increased sensitivity to physical, emotional, and environmental stressors.
Living with fibromyalgia can be frustrating, particularly when symptoms fluctuate from day to day or when traditional approaches to exercise and rehabilitation have not been helpful.
At My Community Physio, we understand that fibromyalgia is more than just pain. Our approach focuses on helping you better understand your symptoms, improve function, build confidence with movement, and develop practical strategies to navigate daily life.
Our approach
We recognise that pushing through symptoms is often not the answer.
Instead, we focus on:
✔ Meeting your body where it is at
✔ Sustainable progress over perfection
✔ Individualised treatment plans
✔ Education and self-management skills
✔ Supporting both physical and nervous system health
✔ Working with fluctuating symptoms rather than fighting against them
